The Arcadia Historical Museum Foundation is working on a project to build an Education Center adjacent to the museum. The land is owned and maintained by the City of Arcadia.
The Center will be 2,600 sq. ft. with one large lecture hall, which can be divided into 3 separate class rooms. There will be a gallery running the length of the building and modified kitchen facilities, restrooms, and needed storage. A large overhang, forming a terrace, will offer an outstanding location for fundraising purposes.
The facility is much needed. There is no space in the museum for class rooms, receptions for visiting artists and speakers, or fundraising. The demand from schools for field trips keeps increasing. This will be a valuable tool for classes and children of all ages.
The foundation board of directors feels it is incumbent of them to make these facilities available. Preliminary plans and studies are completed. We look forward to your support. As a donator you will contribute to the preservation of the history of Arcadia and have a role in the continuation of educational programs.
